Town of Vail - Eagle County - Colorado USA

Internationally known for its incomparable world-class skiing and riding, the Vail Valley additionally offers an exciting nightlife, unique shops, gourmet dining and nonstop outdoor adventure, summer or winter.
Vail, Colorado is like nothing on earth. For summer adventures, few places can match Vail. Coordinate your unforgettable trip with Vail signature events, adventures, attractions, or simply find the best condo, hotel, townhouse, or breathtaking view in the Rockies. Vail has the look of a Tyrolean village, and is visited regularly by almost as many Europeans as Americans. This gives its restaurants, hotels, and shops a continental air.
The Town of Vail is the host and headquarters for The America Cup International Fly Fishing Tournament.

There's no doubt about it. Great anglers use great tackle. And we have the best of both world's here at Greys.
Our experts, like Nick Hart, John Bailey, Rebecca Thorpe, John Horsey, Chris Ogborne and Henry Gilbey to name but a few, are demanding anglers, and any of the Greys equipment they use is thoroughly tested. We love glowing reviews and winning awards (and we do get quite a few) but it's the fact that Greys is the gear of choice for so many top flight anglers that pleases us most.
These men and women cannot afford their gear to let them down and that's why we are proud they choose Greys. Great design. Great materials. Great build quality. Great prices. Lifetime guarantees. Their backing is as good an endorsement as you can get in game fishing.

For well over a century, Hardy has been renowned as the manufacturer of the finest game fishing tackle in the world - the name is synonymous with quality and excellence. Such reputations are not acquired easily, but it has never faltered throughout the Company's long history.
All over the globe, there are people who love to fish and in the universal language of the sport, one name reigns supreme - that of Hardy.
In Colorado, water is a more precious commodity than almost any other natural resource. Since 1969, Colorado Trout Unlimited has been the state’s leading advocate in conserving, protecting and restoring Colorado’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.
Eagle Valley Trout Unlimited supports The America Cup and their drive to educate local and visiting anglers of the dangers of Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS). As the result of the emerging threat posed to our fisheries by various ANS such as New Zealand mud snails, the whirling disease parasite Myxobolus cerebralis, and Didymo (filamentous algae), many anglers, guides, outfitters, lodge, and fly shop owners have raised concerns regarding the proper care of angling equipment to to help prevent the spread of these nasty aquatic hitchhikers.

The America Cup is proud to be working closely with the Colorado Division of Wildlife for our event venues. Protecting our water and promoting Colorado resources is critical to future generations.
Thank you to Bill, Craig and Brian!
Fishing in Colorado means opportunity & a chance to catch some 35 species of both warm- and cold-water fish. You can fish for the famed rainbow trout in a cool Rocky Mountain stream or troll for walleye on a sunny plains reservoir. And Colorado offers everything in between, too.
There are 6,000 miles of streams and more than 2,000 lakes and reservoirs to choose from. Colorado's 168 miles of Gold Medal streams provide outstanding angling opportunities for large trout. These waters are managed to ensure populations of big fish.
