Controller Practice - Location & Times

All volunteer training will be in Vail, Co at the Gore Creek Fly Fisherman store in Vail Village.
It will take about 30 minutes to go through the rules, scoring and measuring process.
Volunteer training & event information will be provided by a person from The America Cup Committee.
July 9th – 16th – 24th – 31st
August 6th – 14th – 27th – 28th
September 3rd – 4th – 10th – 11st – 15th
Time - TBD, daily times for training will be posted in the Spring

Competition Days

September 15th - Thursday
            1:00pm - 4:00pm Event Expo - Casting, Tying Demos – place tbd - Vail Village
            4:00pm - 6:00pm Team Registration / Team Pictures / Welcome Party – place tbd - Vail Village
            Competitor Badge Pick Up and general good time to meet fellow teams
                         Each individual angler picks up event badge & signs event participation form
           6:00pm - 7:00pm Captains Meeting – place tbd - Vail Village
                        Venue and beat drawing/assignments / Questions and Answers - all invited to attend

September 16th - Friday
7:00am – 7:30am Meet at transportation hub -Vail Village – location TBD
7:30am – 8:30am Transportation to venues
9:00am – 12:00pm - Session 1
12:30pm – 1:30pm – Lunch and venue changes
2:00pm – 5:00pm – Session 2
5:00pm – 6:00pm – Transport back to Vail Village – location TBD
9:00pm – Posting of scores

September 17th - Saturday
7:00am – 7:30am Meet at transportation hub -Vail Village – location TBD
7:30am – 8:30am Transportation to venues
9:00am – 12:00pm - Session 3
12:30pm – 1:30pm – Lunch and venue changes
2:00pm – 5:00pm – Session 4
5:00pm – 6:00pm – Transport back to Vail Village – location TBD
9:00pm - Posting of scores

September 18th - Sunday
7:00am – 7:30am Meet at transportation hub -Vail Village – location TBD
7:30am – 8:30am Transportation to venues
9:00am – 12:00pm - Session 5
12:30pm – 1:30pm – Transport back to Vail Village – location TBD
2:00pm – 5:00pm – Apres Tourney - location TBD
Volunteers and Competitors can fish together and the 3 largest fish win medals!
Scoring sheets and measuring tubes will be available and get the angler next to you to initial your catch.
5:00pm – 8:00pm – Awards Banquet – location TBD
Final Results Posting - Food, BBQ, Medals, Trophies, Team pictures

September 19th – Monday – have a safe travel day
